300 Thanksgiving Meals to the Bahamas

In the spirit of giving, Shooters Waterfront and Grateful Palate donated 300 Thanksgiving meals to the Bahamas on Wednesday, November 27th. The meals will be served to individuals who are helping rebuild in Great Abaco, where most of the damage took place during Hurricane Dorian.

The meals—which are each complete with a herb-infused turkey, honey glazed ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread stuffing, green beans almondine, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, apple pie, and vanilla ice cream—have been fully cooked and prepared beforehand.

Local South Floridians, Brian and Nicole Grosman, will be taking the meals to the Bahamas on their boat, Labor Day. The meals, which were packed in special coolers at Shooters Waterfront starting at 7 a.m. today, will arrive to the Green Turtle Club Resort & Marina in Great Abaco, Bahamas, where they will be heated and served at 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

We would really appreciate it if you could share the news of Shooters Waterfront and Grateful Palate’s relief efforts this Thanksgiving. Please let us know if you have any questions or need additional information.
