March 2019: Pinecrest / Palmetto Bay

Though it may surprise some, the March issue is always one of our favorites to put together. Spring cleaning is a topic of universal interest, and with the explosion of natural-based products on the market it seems like there is more to share every year. 2019 started off with a bang in the organization department, as Marie Kondo’s new show had everyone KonMari-ing their closets, but here in South Florida we take the oncoming season as a chance to quite literally embrace a breath of fresh air. To help our readers do that in the most responsible way, we turned to natural-cleaning experts from around the country to get their tips for cleaning house. Because as one 40-year veteran of the cleaning business told our editor, “It’s South Florda, there is always going to be dust.”

We were also excited to profile another fantastic student from our local schools (this time Belen) who is taking action on behalf of fellow students. Our Philanthropist has not only collected food, clothing and gift cards for students in need, but has been instrumental in setting up an actual store within Southridge Senior High School, to support and care for their homeless population. We encourage you, as with every organization we feature, to reach out and support Operation Day to Day and show Francisco and his team that we are ready and able to help the less fortunate.
