FPL awarded $20K scholarships to 10 students

On June 22, FPL awarded 10 local South Florida students with NextEra Energy Scholarship for Students in SECME — a merit award of up to $20,000.

All ten students and their families, who are in on the surprise, were presented with $20,000 college scholarship checks and university swag at FPL’s Manatee Lagoon.
