WHAT: In spirit of National Cancer Research month, Miami’s premier healthy eatery Carrot Express is partnering with the nation’s leading cancer-fighting organization, American Cancer Society. With 1 in 3 people in the US being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, Carrot Express was eager to rejoin the fight against cancer. This is the third year the wellness destination will collaborate with American Cancer Society and to date, they have raised more than $15,000. From May 1st – July 31st, Carrot Express customers will have the option to round up their total up to the nearest dollar. The “change” will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Carrot Express Founder, Mario Laufer believes that this partnership will continue to aid in improving the lives of cancer patients and their families. The American Cancer Society and Carrot Express both share the same mission to improve the nation’s overall health and wellness. “A little over 2 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the United States this year,” said Wendy Johnson, American Cancer Society Florida Vice President. “We are excited to continue our ongoing partnership with Carrot Express Connect to help fulfill the mission of the American Cancer Society to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.”
Guests are also encouraged to experience their new menu items including Guilt-Free Cauliflower Rice, Strawberry Fields Salad, Express Chicken Bowl and an assortment of homemade baked goods like a Coconut Guava Cookie and Orange Blossom Cake. The round-up campaign will be honored on-site at all 25+ locations and through online ordering here. For more information and a list of locations, please visit www.eatcarrotexpress.com.
