This Too Shall Pass

PINECREST & PALMETTO BAY WILL BE STRONGER THAN EVER

After weeks of sheltering in place, our homes and communities have become so much more than they ever were before. From sanctuaries to protect our families to indoor/outdoor spaces that entertain us day and night; from endless Zoom meetings in our bedrooms to homeschooling our children on our kitchen tables; from workouts in our living rooms to bike rides and walks around our neighborhoods; our homes and our families are everything and Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay are among the best places to live, now more than ever.

For many of us, real estate is the last thing on our minds as we focus on health, our businesses and jobs, and the overall wellbeing of our neighbors, country and world. For others, life events related and unrelated to COVID-19 June necessitate a purchase or sale sooner than later. Some are just curious how the current situation June affect what is often our biggest investment.

While there is still much uncertainty about the duration of COVID-19 and its full effect on the economy and the real estate market, as the adage goes “this too shall pass” and Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay will be stronger than ever.

Pinecrest and Palmeto Bay are among the top neighborhoods in South Florida with spacious homes, large lots with great backyards, and quiet neighborhood streets for families to bike, run, walk, and get outside. Now, even more than before, these are the qualities that buyers will increasingly value when looking for their new homes and family sanctuaries.

Historically low interest rates will also incentivize buyers to make purchases sooner than later to take advantage of increased buying power and significant long-term savings.

Many sellers have also understandably taken their properties off the market, which means less competition for those sellers who need or want to move more quickly.

This too shall pass. We will all get through this together and Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay will be stronger than ever!
