What a night !!!
As we were in line to order, I was enjoying the wonderful, casual interior decoration of this location of American Harvest. My favorite part was the brick wall with the name of this place on it. It turns out they also have a location on Brickell.
We ordered the following:
American Harvest Burger: This was cooked to its best, made with Angus beef, chuck short rib, brisket blend, fontina cheese. Mixed with their amazing and so tasty house mayo, caramelized onions. Served on a moist potato bun. Let me tell you about those caramelized onions. They were melting in my mouth and the sweet flavor was the perfect combination for this juicy burger.
Steak Sandwich: Can you believe that they served this in a naan bread? I was so happy to see it and even more happy to taste the flavors of the Angus steak. Mixed with their mayo, caramelized onion, red peppers, fontina cheese, and mixed greens. I don’t want to say that it was my favorite but, the flavors and tender steak of this sandwich were beyond good.
Quinoa Veggie Salad: Their quinoa salad came with, fresh mixed greens, tomato, queso fresco, basil, and red peppers. I enjoyed this delightfully fresh salad. The tastes felt the Mediterranean, maybe because of their oregano-goat cheese vinaigrette. Plus the quinoa absorbed this flavors and you can just imagine how good it was.
Cuban Hipster Bowl: This pretty white bowl of seasoned organic black beans, and oven baked plantains, was exquisite. The mixes of the ingredients and cheese on top made it wonderful for a side or even a main dish.
Pesto Harvest Skillet: I had so much fun trying this plate that my friend ordered. Colorful green & yellow squash, cauliflower, red onion, portobello mushrooms, red peppers, carrots. Topped with shredded parmesan, toasted almonds, baby heirloom tomatoes and some almonds. After I took pictures and videos of they pretty plate I ate some of it and it was sensational. The basil pesto dressing was the finishing touch to make it even better.
As you can see I had an amazing experience and I’m very happy I went, their service and food were outstanding, and they definitely surpassed my expectations.
