PTS Toy Drive for Chapman Shelter

PALMER TRINITY SCHOOL MAKE THE HOLIDAYS SPECIAL FOR CHAPMAN PARTNERSHIP SHELTER RESIDENTS IN HOMESTEAD

This year Palmer Trinity School (PTS) students collected more than 800 toys and gift cards benefiting children and families assisted at Chapman Partnership’s Homestead facility. Chapman Partnership houses a total of 800 residents at two facilities in downtown Miami and Homestead, and offer all the resources needed to assist motivated homeless residents, including families, to become self-sufficient.

In addition to the successful toy drive, fifteen PTS students volunteered to put on a holiday dinner for these families in need. The students served an Italian feast, generously provided by the Lombardo family, to 300 residents at the shelter. The night’s festivities also included a beautiful dessert station, a visit with Santa Claus, holiday arts and crafts, and caroling.
