Wyn Wyn, a new dining concept celebrating fresh, sustainable cuisine and a vibrant mix of global flavors, will open its doors at Arlo Wynwood on February 5. Helmed by Chef David Robbins, the restaurant draws inspiration from his culinary journeys across Peru, Polynesia, and beyond, featuring a menu centered on locally sourced ingredients and superfoods. Designed to foster connection and community, Wyn Wyn offers a lively dining experience where conversations flow as freely as the food.
Immersive Design by Humberto De Andrade
Designed by Humberto De Andrade, Wyn Wyn blends nature with modern sophistication. The space features organic textures of wood, stone, and lush greenery, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Bold colors, custom patterns, dynamic lighting, and striking oversized art installations add a playful, eclectic contrast. The open kitchen, complete with a six-seat Chef’s Counter, puts diners at the heart of the culinary action, while the 85-seat dining room seamlessly transitions to an outdoor patio, offering both intimate corners and expansive tables for gatherings. Sustainability is a core focus, with reclaimed woods, eco-conscious finishes, and a dedicated herb garden at Arlo Wynwood’s third-floor oasis, Higher Ground, where Chef Robbins sources the freshest ingredients.
A Global Menu with Local Roots
Chef Robbins aims to bring a fresh perspective to Wynwood, emphasizing global inspiration and local action. “By supporting Florida’s local businesses and cultivating a space built on connection, we hope to create a dining experience that enriches both the community and the environment—a true ‘win-win,’” says Robbins.
The menu, available for lunch and dinner, highlights flavors from Peru, Southeast Asia, Western Europe, and Polynesia, with ingredients sourced from local purveyors like Paradise Farms and Counter Culture Kombucha. The dinner menu is divided into “bites,” “salads,” “something more,” and “sweets,” emphasizing clean eating with superfood and functional ingredients. Most dishes are gluten-free, with many vegetarian and vegan options.
