Since 2000, Land Rover South Dade has been providing friendly, trustworthy, top-notch service to the community. Of course, the Land Rover name is synonymous with sturdiness, maneuverability and an eye-catching appearance that sets it apart from other luxury vehicles on the market, but it’s the all-around culture you’ll find here that has really contributed to its esteemed reputation throughout South Florida.
“We have always had a family culture where our employees are the most important part of our business,” says Larry Zinn, Executive General Manager of Land Rover South Dade. “Without them we couldn’t serve our customers and our community. We feel that the value we place on our employees sets us apart from our competition.”
A Family Tradition
Larry’s father, Warren Zinn, founded the dealership in 2000. Larry grew up in the business, working his way through various positions that included picking up garbage, washing and parking cars.
The Zinn family has a long history in the automotive industry that dates back to 1955 when Larry’s grandfather sold Lincolns in New York City. He later relocated to Miami Beach, where he sold Chevys, and eventually opened Florida’s first Toyota dealership in 1965.
“The best testimonial I can ever get is a referral,” says Larry. “I have always been taught to take care of your people or someone else will.”
This philosophy has earned them many awards and accolades over the years. Land Rover South Dade recently received the JD Power of Excellence Award for the third year, recognizing the outstanding sales and service experience they offer their customers. The dealership was also recognized with the Best of the Best Reader’s Choice award from The Florida Villager for exceeding customer expectations and for their contribution to the South Florida community.
Land Rover’s extensive fleet of luxury vehicles includes new and pre-owned models, ranging from the Discovery Sport — known for its outstanding off-road performance — to the smooth-riding Range Rover — a large luxury SUV with all the bells and whistles.
The new Defender is a legendary vehicle that has become one of the most iconic models of the year. This is actually not the first time the Defender has been sold. After more than twenty years off the market, it’s back and better than ever — based on a completely new platform. According to Land Rover, “The updated model is three times stronger than any of its closest rivals thanks to the combination of aluminum and advantageously placed high strength steel.” Now that’s going going above and beyond The launch of the 2020 Defender has surely had a great impact on the automotive industry.
50 Years of Range Rover
