Miami Valentine’s Day Restaurants for the Perfect Date

Miami’s in the mood for love as its gearing up for this year’s Valentine’s Day. Treat your loved one to a night of amorous romance at some of Miami’s most notable restaurants. Here’s a list of restaurants you would want to make reservations for this Valentine’s Day.

Café Prima Pasta

Café Prima Pasta is the ideal dining location for those looking to enjoy an intimate dinner with their significant other. The restaurant’s dim red lighting and intimate seating make it one of Miami’s best kept secrets to enjoy a candlelit dinner with traditional Italian cuisine. This Valentine’s Day, Café Prima Pasta is offering menu specials that you and your partner will fall head-over-heels for. Celebrate your love for wine (and each other) with $10.27 French rosé sangria during happy hour at 5 p.m. Stick around after 6 p.m. for menu specials which include heart-shaped lobster ravioli, short ribs and lobster meat risotto. Couples can also enjoy Veuve Clicquot champagne for $65, Bonanza Cabernet of Caymus Vineyards and Sea Sun Chardonnay by the glass for $12.50 or $45 by the bottle. End the night on a sweet note by sharing a special tasting dessert tower for $14. If the flavor-filled dishes doesn’t make the ladies fall in love at first bite, then the complimentary rosé Cafe Prima Pasta will be serving sure will. 

Toscana Divino

Couples can enjoy al fresco dining at an authentic Italian “Terraza” at Toscana Divino, located in the heart of Mary Brickell Village. The Italian eatery offers classic dishes with a modern approach and a carefully curated wine list in an elegant setting. Toscana Divino will offer a four-course dinner menu for $65 from 5 p.m. to midnight. Menu items include caviar dip; atlantic sea scallop gratin with fine herbs; homemade tagliolini with lobster, bisque and confit baby heirloom tomato; pan seared snapper with baby heirloom vegetables and red sauce; and chocolate accompanied with roses for dessert

Il Mulino New York

Spend a romantic evening for two dining at the famed Italian eatery, Il Mulino New York. Located at the five-star Acqualina Resort & Residences on the Beach in historic Sunny Isles Beach, the restaurant is the perfect place to dress up in your favorite glamorous outfit and enjoy a night out fit for royals. Enjoy a four-course dinner with fresh Italian flavor and impeccable service at the stunning oceanfront property. For the first course, guests can choose from a Caprese salad, Caesar salad or Polpo Alla Griglia. The second course includes Ravioli Ai Porcini, the restaurant’s most popular and signature dish, Cavatelli, Risotto All’Aragosta, or Gnocchi al Tartufo. The third course offers a delicious choice of Langostino, Pollo al Marsala, Dentice ai Frutti di Mare, or Filetto di Manzo. For the grand finale of the evening, indulge in your choice of either Torta Alla Ricotta, Tiramisu, Torta al Cioccolato, or Fragole con Cioccolato. Dinner is priced at $200 per person and includes a complimentary glass of prosecco.

AQ Restaurant by Il Mulino

Enjoy a romantic evening with your significant other this Valentine’s Day at AQ by Il Mulino. Indulge in their four-course dinner with delicious choices of appetizers, entrées and desserts. Appetizer options include Burrata or Grilled Octopus with campari tomatoes, black olives and potatoes. The second course includes a pasta option and guests can choose from the Fettuccine Lamb or Gnocchi Pesto. Entree options include Salmone, Filet Mignon or Pollo Scarpariello. Top the evening off with delectable dessert choices including Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Torta della Nonna and Tiramisu. Dinner is priced at $150 per person and includes a complimentary glass of prosecco. For parents that will be accompanied by children between the ages of 3 to 10 years old, dinner is priced at $80 per child.

OLA at The Gates Hotel South Beach

OLA, a Miami institution recently relocated to The Gates Hotel South Beach, is the prime spot for a romantic experience this Valentine’s Day. Guests will enjoy a candlelit meal with highlights from the restaurant’s diverse latin-inspired menu like the Fire & Ice Ceviche ($18), crafted with Cobia marinated in sour orange, red onion, cilantro and jalapeno over Asian pear granita, or try something different like the Lobster Empanada ($22) a concoction of squid ink dough filled with Maine lobster, accompanied by avocado sauce and salsa rosa. For those looking for a hearty option, order the Sugar Cane Tuna ($42) made with tuna that is adobo rubbed and seared, served over malanga goat cheese fondue with a spinach and shrimp escabeche. Foodie couples can delight in the special flavors and romantic, intimate atmosphere with white table cloths and a scenic patio that OLA does so beautifully this Valentine’s Day.

Villa Azur

Follow the rose petal path to Villa Azur this Valentine’s Day for a romantic night to remember with your loved one. Pop the champagne and share quality time over an exquisite candlelit dinner that will have them falling in love with you all over again. Bouquets of roses and candles guide guests through the Mediterranian fusion restaurant and onto the spacious patio where guests will surely get into the amorous mood. Love is in the air at Villa Azur and so is the aroma of the Chef specials. For the first course, take a bite into pistachio crusted Soft Shell Crab ($19) made with cilantro aioli and a side of herb salad; or the Duck Rillette ($21) made with anjou pear slaw and grilled filone. Make your way into the second course with delicious options like Local Snapper ($42) made with brown butter mojo and celery root purée; or a 12 oz. Striploin ($58) crafted with truffle mushroom purée, caramelized cipollini onion, and beef jus. To make the night just a little bit sweeter, enjoy a Glazed Apple ($14), a caramel pastry cream dessert made with apple compote and brown butter crumbs.
