8 Water Activities That You Need to Try Now

There are many different water activities that you need to try now, but it’s so hard to choose. This article will break down some of the most exciting options available in Florida.

Extreme Options

Parasailing

If you want a rush from the air, parasailing is the way to go. This gives you a great view of the beach, and it’s an experience you should have at least once.

Surfing

A classic extreme sport, it’s still hugely popular on both coasts. If you’ve never gone before, definitely get in a wet suit and take some lessons. Once you rip your first wave, you’ll never want to stop!

Scuba Diving

We started in the air, then we surfed on the water, and now we’re going under the sea’s surface. Scuba diving is amazing; you’ll see fish, sea creatures, coral, and so much more. It’s one of those water activities that you need to try because it proves just how big the world really is.

Cage Diving

If you’re even a little crazier, you can grab an oxygen tank, a cage, and jump in the ocean by all the sharks. It’s another amazing experience, just more thrilling.

Less Extreme Options

Sailing

This is one of those family-friendly and overall relaxing activities. While the view of the beach and water should be enough of a reason to intrigue you, there are some health benefits from sailing too.

Jet Skiing

Another really fun activity that almost everyone can do is jet skiing on the ocean. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy and a lot of fun to race your friends and family.

Rowing

While this has become an increasing popular form of cardiovascular exercise, it’s also a lot of fun. Regardless of if you casually row or row to win, it’s worth trying.

Snorkeling

This is a great option for those who don’t want to go completely underwater but still want to see the fish, sea anemones, and other creatures. In addition, it’s a family activity you’ll find widely available.

While this list only contains a handful of water activities, these are the best options you should try at some point. Many of these are available for most ages, with the exception of the more extreme options. You haven’t lived until you try these though.
