Ocean Bank recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Aventura branch with a ceremony attended by more than 300 guests and clients.
Aventura Mayor Enid Weisman and Commissioners Gladys Mezrahi and Howard Weinberg took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 2, with Ocean Bank President and CEO Agostinho Alfonso Macedo, Chief Lending Officer Ralph Gonzalez-Jacobo and bank directors and senior management officials.
Father Orlando Cardozo and Rabbi Mendy Tennenhaus were on hand to bless and commemorate the event.
“We have been doing business in Aventura for many years, and we have been looking for the right location for our branch for a long time,” Macedo said in welcoming guests to the branch at 20900 NE 30th Ave., Aventura.
The branch, headed by branch manager Leo Gershoyg, is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 6 p.m. on Friday. Drive-through hours are 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until 6 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
