Miami Navy Week

Your United States Navy is getting ready to anchor in Miami next week for the city’s first ever Navy Week. As a part of the festivities, U.S. Navy Aircraft will be on display at the Opa Locka Airport from March 25 – 28, 2019.

Aircraft enthusiasts will be able to see the following aircraft: F-5s from Strike Fighter Squadron Composite 111, a T-6 from Training Squadron 10, and four T-45s from Training Squadron 86.

Aircraft will generally be on display from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. each day.  The times are subject to change by the airport, and not all aircraft will always be on display at the same time. Additional information for specific dates and times can be found on the Miami Navy Week website at www.outreach.navy.mil/Navy-Weeks/Miami/

Navy Weeks focus a variety of outreach assets, equipment and personnel on a single city for a week-long series of engagements with key influencers and organizations representing all sectors of the market.  Miami Navy Week is scheduled for March 25-31, 2019 and is designed to give area residents an opportunity to learn about the Navy our nation needs.
