Pérez Art Museum Miami To Celebrate Sixth Anniversary Of The PAMM Fund for African American Art

WHO/WHAT: Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is set to host its sixth annual Art + Soul Celebration on Saturday, February 9, 2019, an evening in support and celebration of PAMM’s Fund for African American Art.

PAMM will welcome arts supporters and PAMM Ambassadors for African American Art for a night of cocktails, decadent cuisine prepared by celebrity chef Amaris Jones, dancing, and the unveiling of the Ambassadors’ most recent art acquisition. With a 35 year history of presenting modern and contemporary art from underrepresented communities and diasporas, from Africa and Latin America, to the Caribbean, PAMM’s Fund for African American Art allows the museum to purchase and showcase contemporary art by African American artists for its permanent collection.

Cocktails + Dinner | 6:15pm
Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception and seated dinner under the stars with a menu prepared by celebrity chef Amaris Jones and emceed by WPLG/Local 10 Anchor Neki Mohan. Includes access to Reveal and Celebration.

Reveal | 9pm
Guests will enjoy a champagne toast and lively program with Dr. Lowery Stokes Sims as PAMM unveils the Ambassadors’ most recent art acquisition. Includes access to Celebration.

Celebration | 9:30pm
The party continues with entertainment by Jillionaire and A.Randolph and The Smash Room Project, with cocktails, canapés, and dancing under the stars.
