Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall, School Board Member for District 2, and International Finance Bank officials made a special surprise delivery to the students and staff at Lenora Branyon Smith Elementary School.
A total of fifteen computers were presented to the school by International Finance Bank’s President Jose E. Cueto as Principal Shantwai Dalton, along with administrators, teachers, staff, and students looked on with wide eyes and big smiles!
Dr. Bendross-Mindingall chose the school because of its painful, yet rich history as a beacon of hope for so many children in the community. Principal Dalton stated, “The computers donated will help our students perform better on their iReady assessments and will help prepare them for mandatory tests.”
Dr. Bendross-Mindingall added, “As a lifelong educator, it is always my joy and pleasure to encourage our students to reach their fullest potential. I am so grateful to President Jose E. Cueto and International Finance Bank for giving back to our deserving students, parents, and educators.”
