Cypress Hall is open at Pinecrest Gardens

The renovation of Cypress Hall in Pinecrest Gardens is complete. Cypress Hall is a beautiful art exhibition and lounge area that includes HARTVEST COFFEE, a full-service coffee bar and barista education platform. The venue also provides modular spaces for art classes, lectures and shared work areas.

The venue and new programming will continue to add to the prestige of Pinecrest Gardens as South Florida’s Cultural Arts Park. Programming at Cypress Hall includes weekly classes by the HARTVEST PROJECT, a Miami-based art education venture with the mission to nurture, foster and promote interest in fine art.

Highlights of the design include floor to ceiling bi-fold windows that open to the botanical gardens, a unique terrazzo floor designed by HARVEST PROJECT founder Carola Bravo, and a hand-made chandelier by Greek artist Fragiskos Bitros.

This space formerly housed the café at the historic Parrot Jungle and was idle since it was extensively damaged by Hurricane Wilma in 2005. Many of our residents and visitors have fond memories of this venue which was a part of the community for nearly 50 years before the tourist attraction moved to Watson Island in 2002.
