After opening its doors in December 2017, Museum of Ice Cream has provided jobs for over 100 local Miami residents and with this new extension will welcome over 100,000 visitors to date into their four-story OMA designed building. Inspired by Miami’s vibrant culture and energy, Museum of Ice Cream aims to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all to thrive in and enjoy. Following a successful first run, Museum of Ice Cream is honored to remain in Miami Beach and excited to continue sharing MOIC’s values and mission with its visitors.
Museum of Ice Cream is proud to announce the extension of its fourth location in Miami, Florida. After selling out its initial run, Museum of Ice Cream will be extending its SOLD OUT stay through the end of February!
Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber and Bill Talbert President & CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau stopped by the museum this morning to celebrate the news of the extension with Museum of Ice Cream Founders Maryellis Bunn and Manish Vora. Gelber and Talbert had a blast with the MOIC Team and played in the iconic Sprinkle Pool.
“Miami Beach certainly seems to have an appetite for ice cream”, said Mayor Dan Gelber, “and I was thrilled to hear that Museum of Ice Cream has decided to extend their stay in our City, for visitors and residents alike to enjoy the sweet life.”
