Gulliver to Host Third Annual Awareness Summit

Students will apply computational thinking to programming concepts such as sequencing, pattern recognition, debugging and automation

Gulliver Miller Drive Campus will host its third annual awareness summit by participating in the largest learning event in history: the Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is a global movement created by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to reach millions of students in over 180 countries through a one-hour introduction to computer science and computer programming.

Summit sessions will include programming of Arduino boards, manipulating of code and exploring binary code. Students will be exposed to the pathway of our future through the use of technology and programming, as students participate in hands-on activities through the exploration of different programming languages, coding techniques and hardware applications.

Engage in the conversation via Twitter by using the hashtags #HourofCode and #GSLearning.
