On Friday, October 6, Palmer Trinity School celebrated a historic event — the opening of its new Main Athletic Field located on the School’s South Campus. In 2003, Palmer Trinity School purchased the property for the South Campus, but faced several challenges before seeing its vision become a reality. The dedication of the Main Athletic Field coincided with the school’s homecoming game against Pinecrest Preparatory Academy.
Michael Baiamonte, Palmer Trinity’s Chairman of the Board, and Patrick Roberts, Head of School, led the celebration as Masters of Ceremony. More than 500 students, faculty and staff, parents and alumni gathered for this special occasion. The festivities included food trucks, a bounce house, a DJ and more; during the game’s halftime, the Homecoming Court King and Queen were announced.
“After personally being with Palmer Trinity for close to two decades, it was such a privilege for me to be able to share our new athletic field with the community. We welcomed alumni to join us on the field during halftime in celebration of this momentous occasion,” stated Ernest Robertson, Athletic Director.
