Golden Rule Seafood’s Kitchen

Seafood lovers rejoice. Golden Rule Seafood, well known in the South Florida community as a family owned and operated Market offering fresh seafood, has expanded and opened a Kitchen. Ideal for those who are afraid to cook seafood, who don’t want to smell up their kitchen, or who are just looking for a casual meal out, the Kitchen’s large menu variety is sure to satisfy your seafood craving.

Golden Rule’s Market has long been a fixture in the heart of Palmetto Bay, offering an extensive variety of mouthwatering favorites at the most reasonable prices around. With their new full service Kitchen, guests can now enjoy a delicious sit-down meal prepared by the head chef. A popular lunch spot, Golden Rule’s Kitchen is also a great spot for some delicious take-out. “Local business people take-out a lot and people are often picking up dinner on their way home,” says Marketing and Operations Director Courtney Reeder, who is also the daughter of the current owners. Offering sustainable seafood, Golden Rule’s extensive menu boasts a wide assortment of salads, seafood baskets and platters, sandwiches, sides, and desserts.

With all of the options, there are a few fan favorites which tend to stand out at the Kitchen. “Our Shrimp and Oyster Po Boy is definitely a huge hit,” says Reeder. Featuring golden fried shrimp and oysters on a hoagie roll stuffed with sweet potato fries, crisp romaine, tomatoes and tartar sauce, along with coleslaw, it is easy to imagine why people love it. The Blackened Dolphin Tacos, which include 3 flour tortillas stuffed with blackened dolphin, cheddar jack cheese and cabbage slaw, drizzled with spicy mayo, and served with roasted corn salsa, are another favorite. For tuna lovers, the Blackened Seared Ahi Tuna offers a Floridian touch, topped with key lime aioli and a side of ponzu sauce. Some other popular choices include the Fish Dip and Lobster BLT.

Although specializing in seafood, the Kitchen does offer options for those who just aren’t seafood lovers. “We feel we have a great menu packed with a variety of fresh seafood in addition to some awesome items for non-seafood lovers too, specifically the Mr. B’s burger which is named after my Grandfather, Benn Mullins,” says Reeder. Some other options include the Chicken Quesadilla and Plantain Crusted Chicken. The Kitchen also offers a menu for kids which includes fried fish fingers as well as options for children who haven’t yet acquired a taste for seafood.

Whether looking to dine in or take-out, Golden Rule’s Kitchen is sure to please. Having built a reputation for having the finest quality and greatest selection of seafood in South Florida, you’ll be hooked by their great service and delicious food.
