uniquehomesofmiami.com Total Years in the industry 40+Why did you choose a career in real estate?
My father was in sales and my mother had an eye and passion for design. When I graduated from the University of Miami, I decided to try out different interests in pursuit of the right career for me. Once I tried out real estate, there was no going back. It’s my passion and I was thrilled to pursue it starting in Coconut Grove. What are you most proud of professionally and personally?
I am most proud of the years of proven success we’ve had and the relationships I have built with clients and other real estate professionals. I am fortunate to call several clients and agents friends and can do so because we are ethical and people-centered in business. But nothing gives me greater pride than my family: my husband, our three children and four grandchildren. How would you describe your business?
Our business is one that is constantly evolving with the market. I have always had the privilege of being a heavy listing agent and representing many sellers. But we also love to find buyers their dream home and, as the need arises, we provide them expert representation, as well. My areas of specialty are Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay. But we go wherever we are needed!Advantages to the current real estate market:
The biggest advantage of the current real estate market is to our sellers. Homes are selling quickly, with minimum disruption, for record breaking numbers. So, our clients who can sell are walking away with, sometimes, life-changing money and on terms that work very well for them.Top tip for buyers, so they don’t get overwhelmed:
Buyers can be successful in this market, too! They need to work with experienced, patient and persistent agents. At the Jo-Ann Forster Team, we know how to maximize their chances of success while managing the highs and lows of the current market. The best tip I can give them is to find an agent they can trust.Three words to describe the current market:
Opportunity, record-breaking and exciting. What motivates you?
Every day, I wake up and see possibilities and opportunities. I think about how I can be the best person and agent and how can we do the best for our clients. Striving for constant personal and professional growth and satisfaction is my biggest motivator.Best tip for going the extra mile:
Going the extra mile for our clients means sincerely listening to their goals. We can’t deliver the five-star, concierge service we’re known for without understanding what that means for each of our buyers and sellers. We really want to hear from our clients what their targets and expectations are so we can use our expertise and skills to get them there and beyond.Motto you live by:
Change your mind. So much of how we operate in the world, both personally and professionally, is determined by our own self-talk and psychology. So, when doubt or negativity presents, I tell myself to “change my mind” and reframe it as an opportunity for change, growth and learning. What do you enjoy most about the industry?
The thing I love most about the industry is people. I believe we’re in a helping profession and it brings me incredible joy and pride to help our clients through all life phases. I love getting to know people and their stories and playing a part in those stories. That’s why we say, “Every sale tells a story.”(Visited 75 times, 1 visits today)
