Why did you choose a career in real estate?

After completing my MBA from FIU, I was working on a start-up business in hospitality that required travel. Our kids were very young at that time, and I wanted to be closer to them. Real estate was a perfect transition! I find great joy in matching people to properties.

What are you most proud of professionally and personally?

Professionally, I’m very proud of the organic growth of our customer base, and personally, the time spent investing in myself.

How would you describe your business?

Working with buyers and sellers requires two different strategies. We have experience offering quality real estate services for both. This year, we are off to a great start focused on sellers. However, because we have a strong customer base who we’ve worked with in the past on a purchase or sale, they also call us to assist with purchasing beachfront condos as second homes, along with both residential and commercial investment properties.

What are the hottest neighborhoods to invest in right now?

Up north, Wynwood, Little Haiti and Little River continue to grow at different paces. Each community is filled with an awesome mix of diverse cultures, art galleries, and a vibrant dining and music scene. Further south, Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay are also hot locations for our amazing park-like greenery, high-quality public and private schools, and proximity to both downtown and Biscayne Bay.

Advantages to the current real estate market:

If you’ve been thinking about downsizing from that 5- or 6-bedroom home on that acre lot, to a smaller, more manageable home, or perhaps you’d like to now live in an oceanfront condo, this is the time to sell your home at historical price points.

What industry trends do you predict for 2022?

Communities like Pinecrest and Coral Gables will continue to stay in hot demand for luxury residential properties. Across the county, condo sales are on fire, but Miami-Dade County overall has a strong need for affordable housing. This is a challenge that requires more attention.
