Seafood That’s Second to None

If you’re looking for the freshest catch and the finest preparation in the area, then look no further than Golden Rule Seafood restaurant.

In a city as well-known for its seafood as Miami, it takes a special “something” to really stand out from the pack. Golden Rule Seafood not only holds a special place in the hearts of seafood lovers, but they have done so for nearly 80 years. Today, Golden Rule Seafood is a Miami institution that longtime patrons still enjoy and new customers enjoy discovering.

A Focus on Tradition

Part of the reason that Golden Rule has stood the test of time is that they do all your favorite seafood dishes, and they do them especially well. Chef Generric Kyles focuses on seafood staples such as crab cakes, shrimp, calamari, oysters on the half shell, po’boys, lobster rolls and more. Of course, you’ll also find plenty of menu items that show that Golden Rule isn’t afraid to break with tradition. “I really enjoy cooking with Scotch bonnet peppers and creating unique dishes with them,” says Kyles. “I also love all our tacos, but my favorite is our Tiki Tacos with Snapper.”

Of course, even if you’re not a seafood lover, Golden Rule has something you’re guaranteed to enjoy. “We also have many options for non-seafood lovers,” says Kyles. “Our burgers, ribs and plantain-crusted chicken are all delicious. We have a full-service bar with a large selection of beer, wine, premium liquor and craft cocktails.”

The Perfect Setting

While the fantastic food is the main reason that customers keep coming back to Golden Rule Seafood, the beautiful setting certainly doesn’t hurt. The restaurant features a Grande tiki hut set amid a lush tropical outdoor garden. The dress code is decidedly casual, so guests can feel free to come as they are and be comfortable while they enjoy their favorites.

In addition to the restaurant, Golden Rule Seafood also has a seafood market that’s stocked seven days a week with the freshest catches. You’ll find local delicacies such as stone crab, snapper, mackerel and Key West pink shrimp, as well as seafood from around the world like salmon, lobster, king crab and much more.

Golden Rule Seafood is located at 17505 South Dixie Hwy. in Palmetto Bay. For more information, call 305.235.0661 or visit goldenruleseafood.com.
