The City of Doral Holds Its Annual Spectacular Independence Day Celebration!

The Mayor and Council invite residents and members of the community to Doral’s annual Independence Day Celebration with a live concert, inflatables, and a spectacular fireworks show at Doral Central  Park, located at 3000 NW 87th Ave. Each year, over 35,000 people gather for the City’s biggest event of the year.

Admission is free and on-site parking is only $5 (cash only). Free overflow parking will be available at the Blue Cross Blue Shields parking lot at 8400 Northwest 33rd Street, and in the Miami Dade Elections Building parking lot at 2700 NW 87th Ave. Doral Trolley ride will be available from the overflow parking locations to Doral Central Park throughout the event.

The festivities will start at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, with live entertainment from the bands Timeless, Orquesta America, Xperimento and Suga. Their performances will be followed by the spectacular fireworks show at 9:20 p.m. This year’s fireworks show will be extra special as the soundtrack features songs selected by our residents through Facebook submissions. Special appearances include personalities from Revolution 93.5.

Make sure to arrive early and bring your blankets, chairs and picnic baskets. There will also be several food options for sale on-site. Please bring cash as there are NO ATMs on-site. No personal fireworks, alcohol or pets will be permitted inside the park. Attendees are highly encouraged to sign-up for Doral Alerts on the city website (https://www.cityofdoral.com/police/doral-alerts/) to stay informed of possible emergencies during the event and always. They can also stay connected on our social media accounts by following us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @cityofdoral.
