Pioneer Inter-Development Homes, known for high end luxury homes in the North Pinecrest Neighborhood, opened their glass mansion home available for $4.3 million dollars to Zoetic Stage, the regional theater company at the Adrienne Arsht Center, for a fundraiser.
The 4th annual Cabaret & Karaoke event took place on Saturday, April 28 at 7 p.m. and began with entertainment from professional singers who regularly perform with Zoetic Stage. The event then transitioned to karaoke later on in the evening, allowing guests to engage and be a part of the show.
“We’re so happy to have partnered with Pioneer which served as a perfect back drop to our energetic, entertaining evening,” said Stephanie Demos, President of the Zoetic Stage Board of Directors. “It was a huge success and we may have found the next winner of The Voice at our karaoke.”
About 200 guests enjoyed a full buffet by Catering The Event and Misha’s Cupcakes and libations compliments of Zyr Vodka and Oyster Bay Wine.
Supporters were invited to purchase a mystery box as a fundraiser. Each box contained a prize – the grand prize being a week-long stay at a luxury condominium in New York City. The winners were Marianna Dubinsky and Frank Mendez who lent the home for the event, proving it’s always nice to pay it forward.
A live auction item included a weekend stay at the luxurious, Plaza Athenee hotel and tickets to the Broadway premiere of Chris Demos Brown’s play, American Son, debuting on Broadway in November.
DemosBrown along with his wife, Stephanie Demos, Stuart Meltzer and Michael McKeever founded Zoetic Stage 8 years ago.
