Nicklaus Children’s Dan Marino Outpatient Center Celebrates 20 Years of Service

The Nicklaus Children’s Dan Marino Outpatient Center, located in Weston, FL, is celebrating its 20th anniversary of serving children in the community.

The center, which opened in 1998 in collaboration with Dan and Claire Marino and the Dan Marino Foundation, was the region’s first facility to offer comprehensive specialty services for children with neurodevelopmental conditions and quickly became an internationally recognized center of excellence.

Nancy Humbert, Executive Vice President of Ambulatory Services and External Affiliations for Nicklaus Children’s Health System, said, “It has been an honor and privilege to collaborate with Dan and Claire Marino and the Dan Marino Foundation to advance the well-being of children. We look forward to continuing this good work in the decades ahead so that we can continue to offer hope and a better tomorrow for children and families in need.”

The Nicklaus Children’s Dan Marino Outpatient Center offers a wide range of services including physician specialty consultations, diagnostic testing, rehabilitation and primary care pediatrics.  The center houses a state-of-the art, fully equipped rehabilitation gym for occupational, physical, speech and language therapies as well as an on-site heated pool for aquatic therapy and swimming instruction.
